February 27, 2021 - Pack 825 held our 2021 Pinewood Derby on Saturday! Scouts cut, sanded, painted, and decorated a bloc of wood to create a model race car. Competition categories included Speed, Community Heroes, Coolest Paint Job, and Cub's Choice. This year the workshop, check-in and race were all held with physical distancing and the Derby was broadcast to the Pack on Zoom. Thanks to all the Scouts and parent/guardians who participated and to Cubmaster Ethan Beattie, Assistant Cubmaster Jim Bedford, Committee Chair Conrad Reyes, Pit Crew volunteer Jack Kuritzky and Design shop Engineer Brad Williams (for use of his woodshop) for helping put on a great race!
District qualifiers will compete March 13, 2021 virtually from Pittsboro! Best of Luck!
