Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday parade
Our Scouts had an amazing time marching in the 2025 Carrboro–Chapel Hill Community Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 6! From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the streets were filled with music, smiles, and holiday cheer as the parade traveled more than one mile through the community.
We proudly marched with many flag bearers, 15 Scouts, and even one well-behaved dog. Scouts looked sharp in their Class A uniforms, and some added festive holiday hats and costumes to spread extra cheer. Everyone dressed for the weather and stayed together, showing great teamwork and Scout spirit.
Before the parade began, families and Scouts arrived early to enjoy donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate. It was a fun time to talk, laugh, and warm up together before stepping off.
During the parade, participants walked, danced, biked, and scooted their way along the route while waving to the crowd and celebrating the season. The community’s excitement made the day even more special.
As a bonus, all Scouts were able to record a 1-mile hike in Scoutbook, turning a fun holiday event into an achievement too!
It was a joyful, energetic day full of service, fellowship, and holiday fun. 🎶🎁🚶♀️
