Located in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC, our pack is open to all elementary-aged children from kindergarten through 5th grade (or ages 5 to 11). We welcome all new scouts! We meet throughout the school year at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Pack 820 Cub Scouts and their families are a close group who enjoy the outdoors, fitness and sportsmanship, learning about our world and community, STEM activities, and having fun at every adventure.

It starts at 7:00 PM at St. Thomas More School (920 Carmichael St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514). This event is a fun kickoff to the Scouting year and a recruiting event, so please invite your friends, neighbors, new classmates, and bring K-5 siblings! 2023 Trip to USS Yorktown - Operation Overnight

Pack 825 was thrilled to return to the historic USS Yorktown , located in Charleston, SC for the first time since 2019 for Operation Overnight. During our two-night stay, we slept on board the aircraft carrier in traditional Navy berthing compartments and ate meals in the ship's galley. We learned what life was like for Navy sailors and saw some of our military's most notable airplanes and ships up close. The USS Yorktown is a floating museum that includes a flight simulator, a hanger deck, movie theater, and so much more. It was an amazing opportunity and an awesome adventure!
