2019 FALL PACK CAMPOUT

October 18th to 20th , Pack 825 is going camping at Jordan Lake - Parkers Creek Campground about 30 minutes south of Chapel Hill ( google map ). The campsites we've reserved are close to the lake and near trails, fishing and loads of other activities. There is a bathroom with shower facilities. We will have a campfire Saturday night for making s'mores and other campfire fun. A campout is also a great chance to work on some advancement electives or requirements. Trip price includes camping fees and meals for Friday night (optional), all day Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning. More details will be emailed to attendees. Please signup (here) ASAP, no later than October 7th so we can reserve more space if necessary and purchase the correct amount of food. Please advise of any allergies or dietary restrictions.

American Tobacco Trail Ride

Date/Time: Saturday September 21, 2019 at 9:00 AM Meeting Location: C.M. Herndon Park, 511 Scott King Rd, Durham, NC 27713 Bring: bike, helmet ( absolutely no one may participate without a helmet ), full water bottle, post-ride snack Ages : Bike Day Trips are approved for Scouts of all ages. Siblings are welcome at parent discretion. Supervision: For Lions (Kindergarten) and Tigers (1st grade), parents are required to accompany them. For older Scouts, parents are encouraged to ride together with their Scout(s) as able.  Navigation: We will ride as a group north on the American Tobacco Trail toward Southpoint Mall and the ATT bridge crossing over I-40, then return to the starting point Cost: no additional fee or cost   BSA Bike Safety Tips: Bicycle riding is fun, healthy and a great way to be independent.
