USS Yorktown Patriots Point Charleston, SC Campers arrive and experience the majesty of the USS YORKTOWN , sleep in the berthing areas where the sailors once slept, learn about naval and aviation history. Each camping package includes two nights lodging, meals, tour of Ft. Sumter , oceanography program, plus opportunities to earn belt loops/pins, onboard activities include having 'the run' of the ship late into the evening - scouts get a chance to explore the ship on their own. This boat is a floating museum that includes a flight simulator, a rock climbing wall, several full-size air craft on the hanger deck, movie theater, and more.  There are also several other boats to visit at the pier, including going into a submarine.
